Tuesday

We’re dog-sitting for my parents, who are out of town all this week.  They have a cute little Italian Greyhound named Maggie that is spoiled rotten.  Anyway, school was out today because of Election Day, so I had the day off.  Savannah and I went and rocked the vote this morning (ha!), and then went to my parents’ house.  We took Maggie with us on a 1-hour walk around their neighborhood.  I’m sure I looked pretty silly, wrestling a hyper dog on a leash and a baby in a stroller, but hey, it’s all good.  :)  I burned lots o’ calories, and that’s what really matters!  Savannah was oh-so-tired afterwards (just like Mommy), and I thought Maggie was going to poop out on us before we even made it back to their house.  She’s not used to long walks like that, and there are some nice sized hills in their neighborhood.

Anywho, I’ve been chugging the water all day, so I’m not worried about getting in my minimum of 8 glasses today (more than 8, and I get bonus points for the Survivor Challenge - woo hoo!).  I treated myself to Subway for lunch and still have 11 WW points left before dinner.  I’m not sure what we’re having yet.  I went to the grocery this weekend and bought tons of things, but I waited on buying meat to see where it was on sale.  And, of course, I haven’t made it to the store yet to buy any.  I’m going to browse around and try to find a fun new recipe before I go to the grocery.  We’re also popping over to my mother-in-law’s house tonight, since she didn’t get to see Savannah on Halloween.  Busy, busy, despite being a day off!  Oh well … I had better go find a recipe and then switch out the laundry.  Fun times!  :)

That’s funny. I have a little dog he’s a teacup schnoodle, he’s 4 pounds and fully grown. He’s a pretty active little dude but I took him for a walk today and he just couldn’t keep up with us. I ended up carrying him, pushing the stroller and dragging a 6 year old behind me. Next time I’m going by myself!! :)
